Vivienne Cookmeyer's Portfolio

I am a communications professional with a passion for strategic storytelling, digital media, and creative problem-solving. I recently served as a Project and Communications Manager at Red Door Marketing Agency, where I created and managed social media content, oversaw client projects, and developed marketing materials ranging from copywriting and web design to email campaigns and SEO strategy.

 

Alongside my professional work, I received my Master’s degree in Communications at the University of Southern Mississippi, where I also held a graduate assistantship with the Student Media Center. In this role, I collaborated with multimedia journalists, led workshops and meetings, and supported cross-platform content production and strategic communications. With a background in public relations, advertising, and social media strategy, I bring experience across higher education, and agency environments with a wide range of clients. I enjoy helping brands and organizations create meaningful connections with their audiences through thoughtful, data-informed communication.

I also have a passion for event planning. I have always had a knack for party planning and decorating and I have a huge family, so parties are a constant. Event planning is a great creative outlet because it combines my passion for organizing, leadership, and creativity. After graduating in May 2026, I plan to move to South Carolina and expand my career in marketing to the hospitality sector, which will combine my skills with my passions.
